Despite what you may have heard, college is not all books and exams.  It is also a time for making friends, gaining experience, and having fun!

The Student Activities Council was established for this reason. Student Activities Council, SAC, is the official UNO programming board. The purpose of SAC is to provide educational, cultural, social and entertaining activities for UNO students.  With four different committees, SAC has something for everyone!

SAC is responsible for major campus events including SUCbAUF ("Students Unwinding on Crawfish And Unprecedented Fun", free crawfish for all students with UNO Student ID), Fall Fest, Homecoming Festivities, Welcome Back Luau, Drive-In and tries to come up with new, fresh events every year.

Other Programs feature Magicians, comedians, bands, speakers, performing artists and much more.

SAC is an awesome opportunity for students to make the most of their college experience.

Members have the chance to develop communication, time management, programming, marketing, and leadership skills while meeting other students and having a great time.
